ST. PATRICK'S DAY

St Patrick’s Day Saint Patrick is the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland. He was a Christian missionary. What began as a religious feast day for the patron saint of Ireland has become an international festival celebrating Irish culture with parades, dancing, special foods and a whole lot of green. This Irish holiday is always celebrated on March 17th, which is the day that Saint Patrick died. According to legend, Saint Patrick used the three-leaved shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to Irish pagans.
